Polychrome and gilded Satsuma porcelain service, including a teapot, a milk jug, a sugar bowl and a set of six cups and their saucers, decorated with menacing dragons as well as Asian characters (wise men or deities), from Japan, signed below, from the Meiji period late 19th-early 20th centuries.
These items are in good condition. They are all signed below (perhaps Shuzan signature). A cup has its different interior decor. A more complete file of photos can be sent by email on request.
Note: small chips and slight cracks on a dragon head (taken from the lid), tiny enamelling defects, slight wear of time on the decoration, see photos.
