Quadrangular covered terrine in Chinese famille verte porcelain, with rich interior decoration of women outside a pagoda looking towards an approaching boat; on the lid a multitude of characters in a palace and wooded landscape, all surrounded by a beautiful plant and flower decoration, birds in medallions, taken from the lid in the shape of a stylized toad, from the 18th century.
This terrine is in good condition and is of superb quality due to the richness of its decoration.
Please note: lack of gilding on the edges of the terrine, wear on the grip, some dirt and enamelling defects on the decorations, wear and tear, see photos.
