Large baluster-shaped covered jug in Chinese porcelain from the Compagnie des Indes, Famille Verte, with rich polychrome decoration on a white background, representing flowers of peonies as well as lotuses and prunus in a garden landscape, foliage trellis motif on the lid and on the edge of the neck, roll-up handle, Kangxi period (1662-1722) early 18th century.
This jug is in good condition and is of remarkable quality.
A note: slight enamel jumps on the decorations in places, some égrenures on the button and some chips on the edge of the lid, scratches and wear of time, see photos (see red arrows).
