Ceramic vase, decorated with flowers and foliage intermingled signed E.Lachenal * Art Nouveau period late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
This vase is in good condition. It is signed at the bottom on the side and bottom.

* Edmond Lachenal (1855-1948): artist, painter and sculptor Edmond Lachenal was especially remarkable ceramist. He worked for ten years in Theodore Deck which he quickly became foreman before moving to his account in the Paris suburbs from 1880. He first produced pottery in the style of Iznik, then, from 1890, he devoted himself to sandstone and sandstone with slub, always maintaining a taste for Japanese style shapes and decorations. Shortly after 1900, Lachenal abandoned ceramics and turns to drama, confident in his studio in 1904 with his wife and son Raoul.
