Very nice pair of glazed stoneware vases, perhaps Pierrefonds * Art Nouveau period late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
These vases are in good condition. They are not signed but the quality of the objects of ceramic manufacture Pierrefonds.

* In 1903, Count Charles Henri Olivier Hallez Arros founded in Pierrefonds in Oise, a ceramic factory. He is joined in 1912 by the ceramist Bouillon Emile will give the young factory revitalized. Under the name "The Heraldry faience", it produces many parts of these sandstone Pierrefonds dripping blue enamels are best known for their spectacular crystals. Away parts of the beginnings of medieval inspiration, he will develop typical creations of Art Nouveau. After a peak during the interwar period, production will decline to permanently cease in 1986.
