Cup and saucer porcelain of the Imperial Manufactory of Sevres, decorated with a portrait of the painter Domenico Zampieri itailen *, as well as frses vine leaves and grapes in gilding, XIXth century.
This mug is in good condition and saucer. They are signed below.
A note: some nicks and chips on the edge of the cup and saucer (see red arrows), the handle had to be restored (not visible), slight wear of time on the sets and gilding, see photos.
said Domenichino (1581-1641) was an Italian painter of the Baroque movement. It is placed by his accurate and expressive design, by his true colors in the front row after Raphael, Correggio and Titian. Above estimated its fresco paintings. Admirer of the art of Raphael, his style is affirmed in the realization of altarpieces.
