Japanese print on Ukiyo-e * type paper, signed by artist Kunisada (1786 - 1865) says Toyokuni III surname: Utagawa, representing a samurai and a courtesy (Oiran) sitting in a rich interior, a lady companion behind the woman, vintage Edo nineteenth century.

This print is in good condition. It is signed see photos. She was recently supervised.

A note: small spots and yellowing especially in the corners down, some ususres and stains, light ususres on the frame, well look at the photos for defects.

Japanese term meaning "image of the floating world") is a Japanese artistic movement of the Edo period (1603-1868) including not only an original folk painting and narrative, but also and especially Japanese prints. the main themes are Bijinga ("Paintings of Pretty Women"), Kabuki and yakusha-e (images of Kabuki theater and its actors), Shunga (erotic paintings), Landscapes (f? kei-ga) and "famous views" (Meisho-e) and also the fauna and flora.
