is a French painter, engraver and sculptor. After a law degree, Gérard Ambroselli enrolled at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris in the studio of Ernest Laurent, then in the sacred art studio. He studied under the direction of Maurice Denis, but especially George Desvallières, whose daughter he married, France, October 6, 1932. He became a member of the Salon d'automne in 1932, where he exhibits each year many paintings. He trained in engraving with Józef Hecht and with Hayter, and worked for Éditions Plon (history and art). During the Second World War, he was mobilized in September 1939 and became the aide-de-camp of General de Lattre de Tassigny who entrusted him with a new function: image of the army of Alsace. Demobilized in 1946, he then produced many frescoes (Colmar, Cité Saint-Pierre in Lourdes, Riaumont to Liévin) and tried to sculpture, especially to respond to orders commemorating the liberation of Alsace.
