Set of 4 engravings representing owls, signed Alain Jeanne *, vintage twentieth century.
These engravings are in good condition. Under glass. All are signed. Numbered 60/200 (oval), 82/150 (with its small ones) and 122/200 (the biggest one).
A note: small yellowing on the paper in places, tiny wear on the frames, see photos.
engraver (Ec fr). studies at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Caen, with J. Gauthier; then at the Beaux-Arts in Paris (engraving workshop). Jury Prize at the Bayeux Engraving Exhibition. He engraves mainly with chisel and etching. (See Benefit)
