Watercolored optical view representing a view of Dunkirk from the sea, with the canal in the foreground and the fortifications built by Vauban, from around 1750, 18th century.
This optical view is in good general condition, it is under glass, the frame is later. A similar copy is digitally preserved at the National Library of France, Prints and Photography department, LI-72 (4)-FOL.
