* The daily spectacle of moral and spiritual ruins accumulated by the French Revolution of 1789 took root in the heart of a woman, Angélique The Deaf desire to devote his life to remedy, helping priests to revive the faith and restore morals. Thus 25 April 1816, with three companions she decides to live together in St. Jacut, a small village of Morbihan, to be able to do good around them by pooling their resources and skills. Thus was born the Congregation of the Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. From the beginning, the sisters devoted themselves to the education, care of the sick, the service of the local church, and listening to all distress.
