Superb alabaster sculpture depicting the bust of a pretty young woman with long hair, her dress with a rose bud, signed A.Cipriani * vintage Art Nouveau late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
The bust is in good condition. It is signed on the back.
A note: some small chips and light accidents alabaster (on the shoulder, down the base, see red arrows), may be small gaps on the lower petals of the rose, slight wear of time, see pictures.
Florentine sculptor born in Brozzi in 1857. Active from 1880 to 1930. Father of the sculptor Ugo Cipriani (1887-1960). Artist on Artprice good side.
