Large Carrara marble sculpture depicting the bust of a young woman with her hair hidden by a scarf and a bouquet of their on the chest, signed by Giovanni Callani (?) Firenze (Florence) and Pugi Frères * Art Nouveau Publishers Late nineteenth-early twentieth centuries.

This bust is in its juice. He lacks his base. It is signed in the back, signature of the sculptor hard to read.

To report: small accidents and breaks on the hair near the front and on the petals of the flowers, some dirt and splinters on the edge of the marble, spots and wear of time, look at the pictures.

* Pugi Brothers:

Guglielmo Pugi (1865-1950), born in Fiesole, Italy, was an Italian sculptor whose studio was in Florence. He and his sons, Gino and Fiorenzo worked under the name of Guglielmo Pugi and Son, and the sons then worked under the name of Fratelli G. and F. Pugi (also known as the Pugi Brothers). They mainly served the export market.
