Very nice pair of bookends regulates * representing a cat and a french bulldog playing with their balls (Bakelite) marble base, vintage late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
These bookends are in good condition. A report: lack certainly part of bookends at the end of marble see photos, the top of the ball with which the dog plays is a little worn, usual wear.
* The controls is an alloy of tin or of lead and antimony. This alloy was used instead of bronze for making decorative objects.
