Polychrome wooden sculpture of a Japanese Buddhist monk sitting cross-legged in a wide finely decorated chair, holding in his right hand Dô-Ko (Buddhist emblem symbolizing divine omnipotence) and the left one or nenju Juzu rosary, period late nineteenth century.
This sculpture is in good condition. It disassembles (the monk removes and also sitting)
A note: some wear and gaps on the polychrome, two slots on the sides of monk (see red arrows), some paint gaps also on black frames, a do-KB of the ends was reattached, wear time, although look at the pictures.
