Sculpture or pottery anthropomorphic sandstone shaped amphora or pitcher, decorated with a stylized face smiling and jovial, signed ML Michel Lodereau * year period 1950-1970 twentieth century.
This sculpture is in good condition. She is signed to see pictures.

Artists contemporary potters in the region of Figeac in the Lot Valley, known for sculptures and stoneware including achievements in the years 50-70. The signed works are those of Michael L. Lodereau, those signed AL, those of Annick. Both artists are referenced in the book "Potters of sandstone, seals and signatures from 1941 to 1985" by D.Goudenhooff (2010)
