Pair of Louis XV candlesticks in solid silver, hallmarked Fermiers Généraux de Rennes (crowned D 1748), goldsmith most certainly Jean Loison (1744-1785), socket and shaft with cut sides, mounted on a hexagonal base with moldings and contours, from the mid-18th century.
These candlesticks are in good condition and are of exceptional quality. Hallmarked on the inside of the sockets (hard to photograph) and swan hallmark on the foot.
