Superb and rare reliquary bust of wood (pine) carved representing a character, certainly a saint, wearing a medallion around his neck, period late seventeenth and early eighteenth centuries.
This bust is in good condition. There are no relics in the medallion. He wears beneath a label indicating its origin: "Reliquary given our parent company by Mr. Jean Moye in March 1935 - kept far from his family [...] This reliquary once contained a relic of the True Cross [.. ..] "
