Superb and rare ewer finely crafted silver and gold metal, decorated with flowers and foliage intermingled crystal body may be in St. Louis, decorated with a gilded frieze with a central medallion depicting St. Mark (a lion holding the Bible), punch goldsmith of XIXth century.
This ewer is in good condition. Punch goldsmith under the spout.
A note: slight play in the hinge of the lid, micro-scratches and wear time desilvering light in places, slight wear on the golden frieze, see photos.
