Set of 12 dessert knives in finely chopped silver *, finely chiselled, sleeves decorated with knots and foliage, minerva punch (1st title) and goldsmith Massat Frères *, in the original box, from Napoleon III XIX century.
These knives are in good general condition. Punches see photos. The blade is made of silver steel.* Coined silver is hollow solid silver. It is a kind of silver shell filled with another material (silver amalgam). It was often used for cutlery handles or other small objects.
Remember: the silvering on the blades is a bit passed and worn on some, micro-scratches and wear of time, see photos.
