was a great Italian silversmith and jewel designer born in 1929 in the city of Milan in Italy. He became the apprentice of his father, Mario Buccellati, at the age of 14. He created his own jewelry business in 1971, independently of his father's jewelry company which had already existed since 1919. These two brands carried out separate activities until 2011 when Gianmaria agreed to recast the two companies into a single brand called Buccelati Holding Italia. Gianmaria Buccellati has done an important job in the development of the family business. He manages to open several stores in several major cities around the world. These include Paris, Moscow, London, Tokyo, Sydney and Los Angeles. The merger of Gianmaria's business with that of her father opens up new markets for the company.
