Set of clothes of the Breton woman costume. Including: 2 long-sleeved velvet jackets (bodices), 2 velvet vests (corsets), 4 long petticoats (2 crepe and 2 silk), 5 black aprons, 1 silk apron, 3 collars (2 with embroidery), 4 headdresses, 1 velvet boudin for hair. Provenance South Morbihan (very probably peninsula of Rhuys). Period early 20th century.
These clothes are in good condition, in their juice. It is likely clothing of everyday life. Headdresses and collars are starched.
A note: wear of velvet on the vests and jacket, yellowing on the fabric, all these elements will probably be cleaned, look at the pictures.
