Founded in 1825 in Paris where it has experienced many adventures, many successors and many moves, CBG Mignot has, since its foundation, always been the largest French factory of lead soldiers. The letters "C", "B" and "G" which form the name of the company are the initials of the founders, MM. Cuperly, Blondel and Gerbeau. Originally simple pewter foundry, the company manufactured all kinds of objects (arms of dolls, dinettes, whistles, ...) as evidenced by some ancestral molds, always religiously preserved. Installed since 1994 in Maine-et-Loire, the company continues to perpetuate the tradition of the soldiers of lead.
