Medal of the Legion of Honor in solid gold (eagle's head hallmark) and enamel, representing on the obverse the laureate effigy of Ceres with "French Republic 1870" and on the reverse the crossed tricolor flag and standard and legend “Honor and Fatherland”, mounted with a laurel wreath, with round ribbon, from the 3rd Republic, 19th century period.
This medal is in good general condition. Punched at the bottom see photos.
