Very nice set of 23 stamps * wax old seals representing the Italian Embassy in Paris (6), one of Bavaria (3), Belgium (6) and other seals (Chancellery of the Legion of Honour, Embassy of Hungary, the Netherlands ... etc)
These stamps are part of a collection begun in the nineteenth century.
These seals are in good condition, they suffered the uses of time. A report: wear and use cracks see photos.
* In the Middle Ages, the seal, in addition to ensuring the confidentiality of a message, also testified to its authenticity. It was made by a wax seal stamp printed by the ground too complicated to be reproduced with certainty. Each city and noble families had their seals with their arms.
