Very nice cut crystal inkwell, gilt brass ornamentation finely carved, decorated with winged lions, crowns of laurel and cherubs or putti, First Empire period early nineteenth century.
This inkwell is in good condition.
A note: the two inkwells covers do not fit properly, the crystal part is removable from the base, the brass will be clean, wear and micro-scratches from use, see photos.
