Rare spinning wheel and reel salon or maiden gilt ormolu turned natural wood with openwork or engraved with foliage, resting on an oval terrace door under the label of the master turner Bavant * XVIIIth century .
This wheel is in good condition, it can work. The gilding is in good condition. Master turner label underneath.
* Jean-Louis Bavant, Mr. Turner in 1758, died in 1785 at rue Neuve Saint Roch in Paris.
A note: some small accidents on wood (top of the stopper on the handle of the wheel on a wheel, see red arrows), slight wear to the gilding on the edge of the support, a little wood holder damaged, see photos.
