Small console wall * Italian wall, carved gilded wood decorated with stylized foliage, vintage first part twentieth century.
This console is in good condition and is very decorative.

* Called "console consoles", the consoles are often placed against a woodwork, a trumeau, between two windows or two doors. Under Napoleon III, we see the reborn consoles with important plant ornaments. (extract from the Dicionnaire Larousse antiques and flea market).
