* The origin of these works in hair comes from keeping a precieurx souvenir of loved ones, alive or dead. Their diversity can surprise jewels, knee pads, fans, buttons, embroidery, tableautins, paintings. These objects were made in the late eighteenth century and throughout the nineteenth, both by ladies or young ladies or by talented artists.
