Lighter of brass hair representing the caricatured profile of German Kronpriz *, with a laughing profile (in front of Paris) and the other crying (in front of Verdun), trench object of the 1914-1918 War.
This lighter is in its own juice. The system does not seem to work.
A note: hinge crushed, shocks and soiling, wear of time, see photos.
* The Kronprinz Frederick Wilhelm von Hoënzollern (Prince of the Crown) (1882-1951). The Kronprinz and William II (his father) inspired the caricaturists of the time. With his fleeing chin and long nose, the Kronprinz was originally the character of Croquignol, one of the three feet Nickeled cartoonist Forton.
