was a Swedish goldsmith and jeweller working for the royal family. He learned the trade at a young age through study and practical work for his father Ander Nilsson in Lund, trained abroad in Germany between 1913 and 1914, and continued his studies in 1919 and 1920. In 1927 he took over his father's business in Lund. Wiwen Nilsson debuted his work at the Gothenburg Exhibition in 1923 where his porcelain coffee service was praised as a bold and innovative modernist piece. Nilsson became one of the most highly regarded and well-known goldsmiths of the 1900s, both in Sweden and abroad. By the 1940s he had a shop in New York.
