Superb theater bezel finely engraved golden brass decorated with small stars, and nacre, signed Lerebours * in Paris, in its case, of Napoleon III nineteenth century.

The bezel is in good condition. It is signed see photos.

* Christmas Paymal Lerebours Marie (1807-1873) is a French optician and daguerreotypist. He was born of an unknown father. His mother married John Lerebours optician who adopts the child in 1836. On the death of his father, took over the Christmas Paymal installed optical shop instead of Pont-Neuf and partnering with Marc Secretan in 1845. While they produce lenses and glasses for high-performance astronomical, Lerebours is also interested in the years 1840-1850 to the practice of the daguerreotype, it seeks to improve.
