Very nice little fountain cut crystal and gilt bronze and brass, decorated with a couple of Roman or Greek god and goddess with a dog, and cherubs on the sides and stylized vegetal friezes, First Empire period beginning nineteenth century.
This inkwell is in good condition.
A note: the apple on the cover is slightly bent, tiny micro-chips on the edge of the crystal, light soiling on ornamentation in places, see photos.
