Cut crystal vase of St. Louis *, vintage twentieth century.
This vase is in good condition. It is signed "Cristal St Louis France" below.
A note: small chip on the board (photo with red arrow), usual scratches.
Located in the French commune of Saint-Louis-les-Bitche in Moselle, is the oldest glassworks in France (1586). In 1829, the glass becomes of the Crystal Company of St. Louis. The crystal, still in operation today, was bought in 1989 by the famous luxury house Hermes. St. Louis, it was after Baccarat, the largest crystal-French.
