jeweler, gold and silver silversmith, industrialist, trader. Hallmark: ?? or ???????? in a rectangle. Born in 1793 in the family of Pavel Fyodorovich in the village of Vokhna (now Pavlovsky Posad) in the province of Moscow. Relocated with his family to Moscow in 1796 and adopted the family name of Sazikov in 1811. Trained with his father from 1810, he studied the technical and artistic approaches of foreign jewelers in Europe from 1820. He inherited the his father's workshop in 1830, which obtained the status of factory in 1836. He was appointed supplier of silverware to Tsar Nicholas I from 1837. He founded a school for eighty goldsmiths in 1845. 1845 also sees the opening of a factory in St. Petersburg and two stores on Nevsky Prospekt in 1846. He was rewarded in 1857 and obtained the right to use the Russian imperial emblem. He died and was buried in Moscow in 1868, where his work was continued by his sons Sergei Sazikov (1823-1880) and Valentin Sazikov (1830-1877), whose heirs sold the business to Ivan Khlebnikov (1887).
