Very nice medallion or bas-relief plaque representing an antique bisque scene with an angel on his back a cherub holding a torch, signed B & G Copenhagen Porcelain * vintage twentieth century.
This medallion is in good condition. It is signed on the back.

* Bing & Grøndahl: Danish porcelain manufacturing company founded in 1853 by sculptor Frederik Vilhelm Grøndahl and Meyer Hermann Bing and Jacob Herman Bing brothers. The brand buffer for Bing & GRONDAHL (B & G) represents the three towers from the Arms of the City of Copenhagen. In 1987 the company merged with its main competitor, the Royal Porcelain Factory under the name Royal Copenhagen.
