Watercolour Village alley south of France Paul Biget twentieth


Watercolor of a misty view of a body of water known as "the lake of Symphorien", certainly in the park of a castle in Normandy, dated 1932, antique early twentieth century.

This watercolor is in good condition. It is not signed but comes from the artist's studio.

A note: small holes in the corners and folds.

Leffonds born painter (Haute-Marne) working in the twentieth (Ec en). He exhibited at the Salon des Independants in 1927 and 1928. (Excerpt Bénézit). This painter is particularly known for its beautiful green landscapes and views of the village, painted in areas in which he worked throughout his life such as in Haute-Marne (his hometown), in Brittany, in Upper Savoy or the South of France.
