by his real name Victor Eugène Géruzez (1840 -1906), is a French literary and cartoonist, specialized in books on horses and hunting. A pupil of Charles Gleyre, he participated in the Paris Salon from 1877. He supplied his first drawings to the magazine Le Centaure created by Léon Crémière, who will publish his first two books, Snob in Paris and Snob at the exhibition. He later collaborated on several magazines, newspapers and publications including The Fun Journal, The Parisian Life, The Eclipse, Graphic, The Wisp, or The Journal for Laughs. He is also responsible for several illustrations of works including Les Chats de Champfleury (1870) and Enfants d'Alphonse Daudet (1873). He also illustrated a book by his brother Paul. His original works are highly sought after.
