Gouache representing a rich Italian landscape with figures in the foreground walking on a path, leading to a body of water, around them a beautiful luxuriant vegetation, in the sky some threatening clouds; entitled "Paese del Tempestino d'Italia", School of Poussin, from a painting presented at the Doria Gallery in Rome, signed Montpetit and dated 1806, from the early 19th century.
This gouache is in good condition. Signed lower left. It is presented in an 18th century Louis XVI gilded frame / baguette.
