Gouache representing a beautiful manor in a wooded landscape, in Quincy, dated 1881, painted by Marie Bigot*, 19th century period.

This gouache is in good general condition, under glass. Annotation on the back "Property of the Bigot Family, Georges Bigot (NB: error = Jacques) Marie Bigot his daughter, Colonel Jacques Serres his son [...].

Please note: slight wear and tear, see photos.

* Georges Serres (1842-1924), son of Georges Serres, married Marie Bigot (daughter of Jacques Bigot). They had two children together: Henri (father of Marie-Christine Serres) and Jacques (Colonel), father of Bernard, Philippe, Christian and Jean-Dominique.
The paintings presented are annotated on the back by the descendants (notably Bernard Serres, born in 1928).
