Very pretty stencil gouache representing a young woman from Roscoff (Rosko) in Brittany in traditional costume, monogrammed GF and signed G.Géo-Fourrier*, from the 20th century.
This stencil is in good condition. It is under glass. It is signed lower right.
A note: slight stains and yellowing on the paper, tiny wear on the gilded frame, see photos
is a French painter of the 20th century. After being a student of A. Keller, he exhibited at the Salon of French Artists in 1923. He is a multi-talented artist, painter, engraver, illustrator, creator of jewelry, pipes, postcards and who also created models for Quimper earthenware.
