Very nice little post-impressionist watercolor of a young nude woman or nymph in a green landscape, Charbonnier * AE signed, dated back to 1922, vintage twentieth century.

This watercolor is in good condition and frame. It is under glass. It is signed "Although affectionate remembrance AECharbonnier" bottom left, and back "Nancy 1922".

A note: tiny wear on the frame, see photos.

* Alexis-CHARBONNIER Ernest (1846 - 1932):

Painter, born in Nancy in 1846 and died there in 1932. A student of Cabanel and Sellier, he figured the Nancy Salon between 1868 and 1913 with many landscapes of Lorraine, a few genre scenes, still lifes and portraits. He also exhibited in 1924. The Museum preserves Toul him head monk and the pose of the model. (See website artlorrain.com)
