This watercolor is in good condition and frame. It is under glass. It is signed by the shop stamp Charles Huard.

illustrator, designer of this type, was appreciated by the best minds of his time. He liked to practice his verve to embody through provincial in comic figures and snowmen. His illustration of the complete works of Balzac is well known to bibliophiles. (Cf Bénézit)
