Gouache depicting a river landscape, with characters walking on the shore or sailing on boats, a small castle or palace on the left side dominating the other houses in the village, certainly on the Rhine in Germany, 'XIXth century.
This gouache is in good condition. It is pasted on a sheet of paper. It is not signed but comes from the same set of drawings and watercolors (sketchbooks) an amateur painter of the nineteenth century.
A note: paper slightly yellowed, wear of time, see photos.
