Sculpture support (console or thabor) carved polychrome and gilded wood, decorated with a beautiful cherub head surrounded by floral garlands and a shell below, part of a church altarpiece, Louis XIV seventeenth century.
This support is in good condition and is of exceptional quality. It has been reinforced at the back.
A note: some accidents and lack of polychormie in places, some small cracks and accidents in the wood, old wormholes, wear time, look at the photos.
