Bas-relief panel in polychrome and gilded carved wood representing the Virgin Mary as Pieta (Mater Dolorosa) with the body of Jesus on his descent from the cross supported by two cherubs, from the late 17th-early 18th century.
This panel is in good general condition. High quality.
A note: slit in the panel (restored, visible on the back), a few holes (especially the right side), wear and lack of polychromy in places, look at the photos carefully.
