Boxwood plaque carved in bas-relief representing a rider lying inanimate (or dead) on the ground, his trumpet at his side, his horse above him and a dog at their side; in the left part, an inscription engraved on a stele, in a finely chiseled silvered bronze frame with cherubs, dolphins and stylized flowers, from the late 18th-early 19th century.
This plate is in good general condition as well as its frame. The inscription on the stele is not legible.
A note: slight desilvering on the frame in places, small slit in the plate at the bottom right (at the level of the trumpet), scratches and wear of time, see photos.
