Pair of "Orants"* statues or angels in polychrome carved wood, standing with arms extended and folded on the chest in prayer, wavy hair, wearing clothes with folds and movements, decorative elements of altarpiece or altar, 18th century period.
These statues are in good condition and are of remarkable quality.
Note: missing an arm on the left prayer speaker, some accidents and missing wood (on the hand of the other praying person, on the feet, etc.), some missing polychromy, wear and tear, look carefully photos.
* Praying:
in Christian art, character represented in prayer, arms outstretched. Figure represented standing (opposed to lying).
