Rare polychrome carved wooden statue, representing the bust of Christ crucified with the crown of thorns, closed eyes, the spikes of the wrought iron crown, from the Haute Epoque 14th-15th centuries.
This exceptional bust is in good general condition, it has suffered the wear and tear of time. It was originally a statue of Christ on the cross, later shortened to a bust.
