Little wooden carved Black Forest (Black Forest *), representing an eagle perched on a rock and an edelweiss, vintage late nineteenth century.
This bridge is in very good condition.

* Items carved from the Black Forest are not from Germany but were manufactured in the region of Brienz, Switzerland. The tradition of woodworking is ancestral in this region, people perpetuate the practice of wood carved on the facades of houses, furniture and everyday objects. The great sculptors in particular the representation of wild animals in their natural environment. In the nineteenth, these naturalistic sculptures of the Black Forest have become very fashionable and popular.
